Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to drive our expansion and revenue growth across key regions in the FX & CFDs brokerage industry. This role is ideal for a professionally driven individual with strong business acumen, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record in acquiring new clients (hunting) while maximizing value from existing portfolios (farming).
The successful candidate will focus on expanding our Introducing Broker (IB) network, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering consistent performance in a competitive trading landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth & Market Penetration: Execute business development strategies aimed at increasing market share, focusing on new client acquisition, IB recruitment, and partner onboarding.
- Hunting New Business: Proactively source and engage new IBs, affiliates, partners, and retail clients. Build a strong pipeline, manage conversion cycles, and meet revenue targets.
- Farming Existing Portfolios: Develop long-term relationships with existing clients and partners, driving engagement, retention, and revenue growth through enhanced service and upsell opportunities.
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with financial institutions, trading educators, fintech communities, and affiliate partners to expand client acquisition channels.
- Revenue Generation & Forecasting: Maintain ownership of personal revenue targets and contribute to regional business goals through accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and cost-efficiency.
- Marketing Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing teams to deliver regionally tailored campaigns, promotions, and client engagement initiatives supporting acquisition and retention.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, client feedback, and market trends to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the FX & CFDs brokerage industry.
- Proven success in client acquisition and portfolio growth.
- Knowledge of trading platforms (MT4 / MT5), financial products, and regional regulatory frameworks.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, performance-driven, capable of working independently to meet targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and digital marketing tools.
- Fluent English language skills are required.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially relevant to target markets.
