Senior Business Architect - Toronto (9-month Contract)

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Architect for a 9-month contract in Toronto. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze relevant information related to business architecture, consult with contacts on specific elements, and conduct focus group workshops.
2. Develop and maintain enterprise business capabilities aligned with corporate strategy, contributing to business strategy and planning.
3. Develop and revise business architecture artifacts within the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Federated Framework, ensuring vertical integration.
4. Model business at enterprise and core levels.
5. Design capability models and architectural solutions, mapping capabilities to internal and external resources.
6. Develop business transformation plans with senior management.
7. Address business solutions for delivery and operational functions.
8. Establish architectural governance and controls over implementation.

Qualifications

Must haves:

• Experience in developing business architectures using Ontario Enterprise Architecture methodologies and GO-ITS.
• Experience in developing Program Area(s) Business Architecture and related artifacts.
• Documentation skills following OPS standards and industry best practices.
• Ability to align Business Architecture Document with Solution Requirements Document (SRD) and Information Architecture Document (IAD), ensuring vertical integration.
