Responsibilities

1. Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, processes, and business rules to drive business solutions.
2. Support technology design and re-design activities through interpretation and clarification of business requirements and processes and assess impacts of changes to other functional processes and systems.
3. Lead and/or assist with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project-related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders.
4. Investigate and analyze opportunities to help improve business efficiencies and maximize use of QuadReal Enterprise Applications.
5. Facilitate and/or assist with the system selection process and support subsequent related activities, including implementation and sustainment.
6. Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system changes, and provide a framework to support end-user acceptance testing.
7. Coordinate, support, and help business users resolve day-to-day support issues, including application software and operational systems.
8. Assist and support project teams and business representatives throughout projects.
9. Create and maintain user guides, manuals, and other related materials.
10. Create training materials and conduct training sessions.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a complex real estate services environment.
• Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and support of multiple enterprise applications.
• Experience with Yardi’s Voyager (specifically Investment Accounting and InvestorPlus), Elevate, and other applications would be an asset.
• Strong understanding of the real estate business and key business processes.
• Detail-oriented with superior documentation skills.
• Excels at problem-solving and customer relationships.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
• Ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices.
• Change management experience is an asset.
• Process re-engineering experience is an asset.
• Adaptable to constant change.
• Ability to allocate time effectively, work under pressure, and manage tight deadlines, multiple demands, projects, and competing priorities.
