Senior Business Analyst with strong process mapping (Visio) skills to support a portfolio of projects within the Application Development Services team

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong process mapping (Visio) skills to support a portfolio of projects within the Application Development Services team.

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week in Calgary with occasional travel to Edmonton.

Must Haves:

• 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst
• Must have support application based projects
• In-depth knowledge of ADS and AMS domains, workflows, and best practices.
• Must have strong process mapping skills
• Strong ability to develop, document, and refine business processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Must have strong Visio experience
• Expertise in creating process diagrams, flowcharts, and other visual aids using Visio to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Work within the Process for Application Development Service Quotes: be active within the entire process of generating quotes for application development services, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Day-to-Day Activities: Perform daily tasks related to analysis including tracking progress, updating records, and communicating with team members.
• Documentation: Contribute to, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, roles, and responsibilities associated with application development service quotes and budgetary estimates.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate the process flow to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Project Analysis: Work on multiple items simultaneously, ensuring that each project progresses through the process funnel efficiently and meets established timelines and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between stakeholders, including developers, clients, and management, to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
