Senior Business Analyst to assist a Cloud (public and private) intake process
Our valued public sector client is in need of a Senior, Secret cleared Business Analyst to assist a Cloud (public and private) intake process.
The work involves realigning client engagement processes and documentation for the Cloud intake process to the new Framework, while participating in Cloud governance bodies and conducting client and stakeholder consultations. It focuses on delivering technical advice and guidance to support Cloud decision-making for adopting public Cloud services in a military context under the new framework.
Responsibilities:
- Refine the client engagement process and engagement model by:
Improving operational efficiency and enhancing client service delivery, including streamlining requirement gathering, standardizing documentation practices,
and strengthening its governance integration.
- Partake in the end-to-end client business intake processes by documenting and tracking a high volume of technical client service requests and serving as a liaison between stakeholders, technical personnel, and clients to facilitate communication, coordinate tasks, and ensure that clients' concerns are effectively addressed.
- Contribute to the creation and life-cycle management of client engagement documentation such as:
-Client Engagement Playbook
-Client Playbook
-Step-by-step guides, processes and best practices
-Service Catalogue
-Client engagement-related reports
-Website Content
• Provide Cloud technical expertise and advise clients on potential risks by consulting stakeholders to determine how to address identified risks and to build risk awareness within the Department.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies to increase service delivery efficiency and effectiveness, and to enhance overall client satisfaction.
Must Have:
- 10+ years experience as a business analyst
- 10 years Government of Canada work experience
- Secret clearance
Nice to have:
- Business Analyst Certification (CBAP) or other professional designations
