Senior Business Analyst

Visionpool is seeking a proven and experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support key aspects of our clients ERP implementation project. The BA’s role on this project would be crucial in ensuring that the ERP system is implemented successfully by aligning business processes with the chosen technological solution to optimize overall business processes and operations. At a high level, the BA is expected to work collaboratively with SLGA and other external stakeholders in the context of the project in providing leadership and support pre, during and post ERP system implementation in areas including but not limited to Requirements and Gap Analysis, Solution Design and Configuration, Data Migration, and Testing and Quality Assurance. Scope will be further defined during the onboarding of the successful resource and the subsequent planning phase of the project.

The resource will have expertise in the following competencies:

• ERP industry (Oracle Cloud Fusion) specific knowledge and experience in system design, configuration, implementation, testing, and maintenance;
• Proven experience with Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) system migrations and data transformation;
• Knowledge of Human Resources, Finance and Supply Chain Management ERP modules;
• Business process analysis and optimization;
• Requirements gathering and evaluation;
• Solution design and analysis;
• Data analysis and reporting;
• Systems thinking;
• Decision making;
• Understanding and exemplary knowledge of tools, techniques and methodologies to support the following efforts: Requirement Traceability and Gap Analysis, Solution Design and Configuration, Data Migration, and Testing and Quality Assurance; and
• Risk management and compliance.
• Additional consideration will be given to candidates with experience managing a large number of requirements, close to 500 and a proportional number of test cases.
• The resource will be expected to apply a comprehensive knowledge of best practices, strategies, and methodologies utilized in a public sector corporate environment.

The preference is that the resource will be available to work on-site in Regina, but remote work is possible.
