Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Montreal or Ottawa, Canada. You will help develop our business products using Acumatica xRP technology and grow your skills in a professional environment.

Responsibilities :

1. Engage proactively with stakeholders, partners, and customers to identify and prioritize needs.
2. Evaluate information, elicit requirements, and distinguish user requests from needs.
3. Design system specifications using BDD, UML, ERD, and communicate with developers.
4. Collaborate with developers and QA to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
5. Research product issues and enhancement requests.
6. Work with product managers to define and groom the product backlog.
7. Demonstrate features, gather feedback, and perform user acceptance testing.
8. Coordinate with QA on testing and test case design.
9. Serve as a product expert, providing knowledge to support, implementation, and training teams.
10. Analyze support cases, design solutions, and verify fixes.

Qualifications :

• Higher technical education in computer systems, IT, or related fields.
• At least 5+ years of experience in system analysis, software design, and payroll development.
• Experience in business software industry for 5+ years.
• Strong user empathy, system thinking, and information structuring skills.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Self-organized and independent work ethic.
• Preferred: experience with complex systems, programming, technical writing, payroll or ERP systems, fluency in French, basic Business English.
