This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

Your Role

Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Operations, you’ll join the Digital Media team where a major initiative is underway to modernize Radio-Canada’s digital ecosystem and make it more resilient in an evolving media environment. This exciting work will be done in close cooperation with various departments and will greatly contribute to build the public broadcaster’s future.

As Senior Business Analyst, you'll specialize in analyzing business processes, identifying needs and developing optimal digital solutions. Your job consists of analyzing and modelling processes for product business needs. Based on your modelling, you'll develop potential digital solutions that address the various departments’ requirements.

You'll join the Digital Media business intelligence team to help overhaul key platforms for Radio-Canada. You'll play a significant role at the project definition stage to ensure that all requirements are properly captured and documented, allowing you to model a project that meets expectations.

Key Tasks

  • Obtain and document internal and external partners’ business requirements (user scenarios, use cases, requirement traceability matrixes, flowcharts, RACI [Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed] charts, etc.).
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders (business groups, partners, etc.).
  • Analyze, specify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Present tangible solutions suited to our environment.
  • Participate in planning implementation of the various systems to meet client needs.
  • Will be working on functionalities based on artificial intelligence.
  • Advise and assist partners / users with an eye to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Document analysis results and potential solutions.
  • Convey business, operational and functional requirements to the development teams.
  • Draft a Business Requirements Document (BRD) that will later serve as an implementation guide.

Education Required

  • Graduate diploma in a relevant field (business analysis, information systems, administration, engineering, etc.).
  • Experience

  • Three or more years’ experience in a similar digital work environment.
