Job summary

Export Development Canada (EDC) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital & Technology Solutions group in a hybrid role with in-office requirements. The position supports Canadian businesses to succeed globally and focuses on eliciting, analyzing, and translating business needs for delivery teams.

The Senior Business Analyst will work with delivery partners, assess processes and information streams, identify use cases, and ensure alignment with the Digital Experience Roadmap.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree as listed in the qualifications.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Agile Delivery Practices and large program delivery.
• Experience with SDLC and requirement management tools.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles in requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and capture them clearly for delivery.
• Deconstruct complex solutions and explain to non-technical audiences.
• Lead and facilitate sessions to review requirements and gaps.
• Ensure alignment between requirements and the roadmaps and test strategy.
• Collaborate with vendor partners and internal stakeholders across programs.
