The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CAD and GIS technologies, and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include producing specifications and managing data processes. Description

The Asset Information Mapping (AIM) division of Collaboration Analytics and Innovation (CAI) is engaged in several geospatial projects involving analysis, design, development, and implementation activities. To support these projects, Business/System Analyst services are required.

The Business Analyst must be familiar with geospatial technologies and capable of analyzing business requirements to produce detailed specifications, design documentation, and test plans for:

• GIS / CAD data maintenance, modernization, and consolidation processes
• Creation of CAD drawings in AutoCAD/MicroStation and automation of block profiles
• Bentley ProjectWise and ESRI products

The work will be performed on-site 5 days a week for the first 3 months, then hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week) for the remaining duration of the 2-year contract.

Essential Skills

1. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the last 3 years as a Business/System Analyst;
2. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements to produce detailed specifications for development teams;
3. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating large amounts of information with accuracy and attention to detail;
4. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in current and future state process mapping;
5. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in analyzing and designing geospatial solutions (CAD, GIS, FME);
6. Minimum five (5) years' experience with Bentley ProjectWise and ESRI products.

1. Ability to work autonomously, make decisions independently, and own assigned tasks;
2. Mentoring skills for technical and functional resources;
3. Strong customer service skills;
4. Business knowledge related to municipal government or large organizations;
5. Experience in project management, planning, reporting, and estimating;

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
