The Department of Finance has the mandate to provide leadership and direction to the public service in all areas of finance and human resource management. The Government of Northwest Territories (GNWT) is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer team. Located in Yellowknife and reporting to the Information Systems Shared Services Team Lead, Business Analysis, this role is crucial in planning and executing business analysis for large, complex information systems initiatives. These projects involve the planning, development and implementation of information systems and solutions across all GNWT departments and Housing NWT. With project costs sometimes exceeding $3M, the impact of these initiatives carries significant organizational, financial, and reputational risk.

Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Completion of an undergraduate degree in computer science, management information systems or business with 3 years of relevant and progressive experience working as a business analyst delivering complex technology-enabled projects.
