Job summary

Conexus is seeking a Senior Business Advisor in Regina to provide holistic financial advice and creative solutions for commercial members, helping them improve financial well-being. You’ll build trusted relationships, stay current with industry trends, and balance growth with risk while contributing to the credit union’s profitability and community impact.

The role requires 5+ years in business advisory, a related post-secondary background, and strong skills in financial statements and risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a business advisory role with a progressively challenging and complicated portfolio.
• Post secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Thorough understanding of financial statements and assessing risk.
• Proven relationship management skills.

• Providing needs-based holistic financial advice to our commercial business members (e.g.: credit and wealth solutions; cash management services to support banking and deposit management).
• Keeping up-to-date on industry trends to have proactive advice-based conversations fueled by a passion to improve the financial well-being of our business members.
• Marketing yourself to build your book of business in the local community.
• Making sure there’s a healthy balance between opportunity and risk and between growth and profitability for Conexus.

Salary range

$90,590 - $120,785 with 17% Short-Term Incentive Target
