Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Building Operator on a permanent basis within our Facilities Design & Development team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Building Operations Supervisor, the Senior Building Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of all building systems, including all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities.

What you'll do :

  • Conduct internal and external building inspections. Perform preventive and emergency maintenance activities. Review assignments with the Building Operations Supervisor. Perform repairs to heating, air conditioning, and other building systems as required.
  • Assist with alterations to and movement of offices and equipment to accommodate revised floor plans, in consultation with the Building Operations Supervisor. Support office and equipment repairs as needed. Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities for the Building Operations team.
  • Purchase maintenance supplies and coordinate repairs as authorized.
  • Maintain records of preventive maintenance, inspection reports, and maintenance costs using asset management software.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, internal clients, vendors, and contractors.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Who you are :

You're seeking a career in Facilities Management and :

  • Have 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Hold a High School diploma and a valid Fourth Class Power Engineering License
  • Possession of a Building Systems Technician and/or Refrigeration Engineer License is an asset. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
