About the Opportunity
The City of Penticton is looking for a full-time Senior Building Inspector (Level II or III), based in Penticton, B.C.
This position reports to the Building Department Manager and is responsible for managing complex development files from application through to occupancy, while providing expert guidance on building code, permitting processes, and compliance.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
About You
To qualify, you will need a Level III Building Official Certification, or Level II with eligibility and intent to certify as Level III. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Building Official, with specific involvement in plan review and monitoring of complex projects, and a valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license will also be essential.
