Job summary

WSP's Building Sciences team in Ontario seeks a Project Manager and Technical Lead to guide restoration of existing buildings. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical quality, and mentor junior staff while aligning with client objectives and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes damage assessments, design, tenders, construction review, and asset management, with travel across sites in Ontario. A P.Eng.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience delivering building sciences/restoration projects in Ontario.
• Expertise in assessment, design, and restoration of building envelope systems.
• Strong knowledge of masonry, concrete, stone, curtain wall, glazing, roofing, waterproofing, and sealant restoration practices.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario; other relevant designations considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead building condition assessments, restoration projects, and multidisciplinary teams across Ontario.
• Provide technical leadership on complex envelope restoration projects and oversee design, tendering, and construction review.
• Establish methodologies, design criteria, and quality standards tied to client objectives and asset performance.
• Mentor junior and intermediate professionals through technical reviews and site visits.
• Develop client relationships and support proposals, fee development, and industry engagement.
