The Bridges and Civil Offshore Structures (BCOS) team undertakes exciting engineering projects for major bridge and transit initiatives across Canada. Our key projects include serving as the Technical Advisor to Metrolinx for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension and GO Rail Expansion - On Corridor Works (OnCorr), designing the Keating Channel footbridge for Waterfront Toronto, advising Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on the replacement of the Alexandra Bridge in Ottawa, and supporting the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD) in replacing the 2km Ile d'Orléans Bridge near Quebec City with a 430m cable-stayed span.
The Senior Bridge Engineer will be based in our Toronto office, working in a hybrid environment. This role involves engaging in the planning, design, procurement, and construction phases of the 9.2km Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE) light rail project, which includes underground and elevated stations, tunnels, 1.4km of elevated guideway, and other civil structures. We seek an experienced professional in railway, highway, and pedestrian bridge design to support our client, Metrolinx, across various project stages.

The Toronto hiring range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits are additional. Ranges outside Toronto may differ.
