The Senior Brand Manager, Foodservice Core Distributor Apps NA is a key member of the North America Marketing Team, responsible for developing and executing portfolio and marketing strategies to achieve the marketing plan for the channel and drive profitable growth. This role manages the marketing mix for the core business, aiming to increase demand among distributors, operators, and consumers (if applicable). The Senior Brand Manager partners with sales, innovation, marketing operations, go-to-market, insights, and other teams to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate is a proven marketer with strong management skills, solutions-oriented, forward-thinking, with a solid commercial perspective, technical marketing skills, and experience influencing cross-functional teams and developing talent.

Driven by a passion for the foodservice operator, the customer, and the category, the Senior Brand Manager will focus on delivering profitable sales and market share growth, aiming to grow and transform the business and category.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of two direct reports, fostering an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
  • Set the vision and long-term strategy for the core foodservice business in collaboration with internal stakeholders, leveraging macro trends, demand space frameworks, operator insights, and market & competitive analyses to identify where to compete and how to win.
  • Partner with Insights, Innovation, and Go to Market teams to identify growth opportunities, translating market insights into compelling go-to-market strategies and execution plans.
  • Champion understanding of the operator and consumer, influencing innovation and base business initiatives that support brand and commercial goals.
  • Work closely with the Go to Market Hub to shape the Foodservice AOC plan, develop innovation, and set marketing spend and ROI tracking for the core foodservice business.
  • Develop portfolio, brand, and private label strategies, including brand positioning and mid-term (3-year) plans for innovation and growth.
  • Lead the development and execution of non-disruptive innovation, including line extensions and renovations, and oversee portfolio architecture and pricing strategies.
  • Support monthly IBP processes with the go-to-market team to ensure supply-demand alignment and optimize channel strategies.
  • Engage with T1 and select T2 customer accounts to unlock joint value creation.
  • Review key performance drivers regularly, adjusting strategies to meet financial and category objectives, including SKU profitability and mix.
  • Manage ongoing portfolio health through lifecycle and review processes, ensuring market competitiveness and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or related; MBA preferred.
  • Experience managing P&L for large brands or portfolios within CPG, with at least 5 years in food.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word; strong organizational and communication skills.
  • 7+ years in marketing/brand management, with experience in foodservice marketing and customer engagement, especially with top NA distributors or chain accounts.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $107,600 - $143,500 CAD annually + bonus. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, leave support, and wellbeing programs, tailored to location and role.
