As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a talented Senior Brand Designer to join our marketing team and play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s visual identity.

Job Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer with strong expertise in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma to lead the creative direction of IDRF’s design projects. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and maintaining brand consistency across all channels. This role will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and collaborate with the wider leadership team to elevate IDRF’s visual presence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all design projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they align with IDRF’s brand and goals.
  • Design original pieces, including illustrations, infographics, reports, and digital marketing materials.
  • Refine images, fonts, and layouts to ensure high-quality visuals.
  • Apply advanced typography techniques to enhance visual appeal and user experience.
  • Generate creative ideas and concepts to elevate IDRF’s brand to the next level and ensure user-friendliness in design language.
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all IDRF marketing materials, from digital to print.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing and fundraising team to ensure project deadlines are met and high-quality work is delivered.
  • Work closely with wider leadership on various projects, providing expert design insights and solutions.
  • Lead and mentor junior designers within the team, offering guidance on design best practices and professional development.

Qualifications & Competencies

Qualifications & Skills :

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Graphic / Brand Designer, Art Director, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including illustrations, digital content, and branding work.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a focus on details and quality.
  • Experience in typography and layout design.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead design projects from start to finish.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, creative, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
