Job summary

Software International (SI) seeks a Senior Boomi Developer to lead design, development and implementation of interfaces between Kronos and UKG Pro WFM for a large manufacturing client. Hybrid work in Montreal, contract role, 12 months with potential extension.

The candidate will collaborate with HR, IT and vendor teams, ensuring secure data migration and scalable integration architecture. Requires deep Kronos/UKG WFM experience and Boomi expertise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Kronos/UKG WFM implementations with a focus on interfaces
• Proficient with UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions), APIs, Boomi and data hub integrations
• Strong knowledge of timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, and payroll workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead the interface development workstream for Kronos to UKG Pro WFM using Boomi
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Operations to translate requirements into specs
• Support Fit-Gap analyses and propose integration solutions with cost estimates
• Ensure data governance, security, and privacy during migration and development
• Document interface logic, data mappings and configuration changes
• Participate in system testing, UAT, and go-live support
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal teams

We currently have an indefinite contract role as a Senior Boomi Developer to workwith our global SAP consulting client on a long term project for their large consumer packeged goods client.

Project Overview

Kruger is undertaking a strategic migration from Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) to modernize its timekeeping, scheduling, and workforce analytics capabilities. This transition includes rebuilding several interfaces, implementing advanced scheduling and analytics modules, and ensuring seamless integration with HR and payroll systems.

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of system interfaces between legacy Kronos and UKG Pro WFM. The consultant will work closely with internal SMEs, IT, HR, and vendor teams to ensure a smooth and scalable integration process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the interface development workstream, including analysis, design, configuration, and testing of integrations using Boomi middleware.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (HR, Payroll, Operations) to gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Support the Fit-Gap analysis by identifying missing functionalities and proposing integration solutions with cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards during data migration and interface development.
• Document interface logic, data mappings, and configuration changes.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, and go-live support phases.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal teams for post-project sustainability.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Kronos/UKG WFM implementations, with a strong focus on interface development and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions), including APIs, Boomi, and data hub integrations.
• Strong understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, and payroll workflows.
• Proven ability to work in complex, multi-site environments with unionized labor structures.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in both English and French.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with legacy Kronos Workforce Central and its data structures.
• Exposure to analytics modules and dashboard/reporting tools in UKG Pro WFM.
