The mission of the Quantitative Sciences Unit (QSU) is to facilitate cutting-edge scientific studies initiated by Stanford investigators by providing expertise in biostatistics and informatics, to mentor and educate clinical investigators in research methods, and to mentor data scientists so that they can reach their full potential. The QSU achieves its mission through an interdisciplinary collaborative approach where QSU members become fully integrated into individual research teams.
The QSU is recruiting for a Senior Biostatistician (Biostatistician 3) to independently design studies, analyze data, and disseminate findings. Independently work with investigators on proposal or grant development. Take the statistical lead on studies. Oversee biostatisticians in the lower levels on data cleaning and creation of analytic files. Lead statistical projects related to collaborations on topics including statistical software, and evaluation of methods.
