Job summary

Affinity is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a major BI transformation for a public sector client. The role involves coordinating IT, PMO, vendor teams and change management to deliver a modern data platform and analytics capabilities across the enterprise.

You will drive governance, risk, and executive reporting, while maturing data governance and leading organizational change to a data‑driven culture. Strong leadership and communications are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct experience in complex project management, advanced analytics, Microsoft Platform (Fabric, Azure, Power Platform), and Data Migration expertise.
• Azure Fabric Warehouse (ADFW) – experience with ADFW and Azure DevOps platforms.
• Data Migration – expert level experience with data migration projects.
• System decommissioning – experience with decommissioning plans, data retention and access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a major BI transformation, acting as the project lead with IT, PMO, vendors and change management.
• Build advanced analytics capabilities and modernize data platforms to support digital transformation.
• Establish governance, escalation paths, and executive reporting for BI initiatives.
• Oversee vendor management, contracts and performance of the SI partner.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels and drive a data‑driven culture across the organization.
