Job summary

Jobber is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to lead analytics asset design, governance, and scalable data models. You will own semantic layers, dashboards, and self-service analytics across Marketing, Sales, and Product, enabling trusted decision making.

The role requires data architecture expertise, DBT pipelines, and experience with Tableau or equivalent tools, on a modern cloud platform such as Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Experience with data architecture and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake)
• Ability to design and implement governed semantic layers for self-service analytics
• Strong data governance, metric standardization and data quality practices

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data models and governed semantic layers for reporting and analysis
• Translate business requirements into analytics models and dashboards
• Build and maintain data pipelines for reliable data loading and transformation
• Manage and configure BI platform access, governance, performance, and security
• Partner with Analytics to model key metrics for semantic layer consumption
