As a Senior Benefits Specialist you will be responsible for leading projects to support the implementation of the strategic vision and design of our global benefits, ensuring we are delivering a branded employee experience through innovative, employee-centric solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement benefit programs that are designed competitively, executed effectively, and align with Irving Oil’s culture and brand
  • Lead projects that support the strategic refresh of benefit design (globally) with consideration of current market place offerings and employees
  • Develop and lead extensive communication strategies to support internal employee communication and education campaigns in partnership with our outside vendors and our Internal Communications team
  • Conduct regular benchmarking, trend analysis, employee pulse survey and data analysis to elevate design and make recommendations for improvement opportunities
  • Implement and monitor an action plan to achieve targeted results

Your Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high ownership and accountability while maintaining the utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee records and business information
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment, as well as independently

Your Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
  • 7 years of experience in benefits administration or HR Operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
