Job summary

Potenco, a technology and systems integration leader in Canada, is seeking a Technical Field Supervisor/Lead for Building Automation Systems (BAS). This on-site role oversees field installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning across projects, guiding technicians and coordinating with project teams on schedules and quality.

You’ll use hands-on BAS/bMS experience to troubleshoot, configure, and test systems, ensuring safe, compliant turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field installation, construction, controls, or systems integration.
• 5+ years in technical construction/field installation preferred.
• 3+ years of field leadership or supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day field activities on projects.
• Direct work of field technicians, installers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate labour, schedules, and site activities to align with project plans.
• Provide hands-on BAS programming, configuration, start-up, and troubleshooting support.
• Lead technical execution on small-to-medium projects and support larger ones.
• Review drawings, specs, and submittals for field execution.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and customers throughout delivery.
