Job summary

National Bank is seeking a Senior Banking Advisor in Edmonton to provide a people-centered experience for branch clients. You will listen to clients’ needs, offer appropriate solutions for personal and small business banking, and support mortgage renewals while guiding clients through complex financial decisions.

You’ll collaborate with a specialist team, help colleagues grow, ensure compliance, and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Advisory service experience and a client-focused approach are required.
• Strong knowledge of personal banking products and services is essential.
• Ability to guide clients through complex financial decisions with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Listen to clients’ needs and resolve highly complex situations.
• Give advice and offer appropriate solutions for Personal and Small Business clients to meet their transaction, investment, personal financing, mortgage renewal, made-to-measure insurance and complex estate planning needs.
• Support your clients through the mortgage renewal or renegotiation process.
• Participate in the development of your branch colleagues.
• Ensure client satisfaction and engagement, and serve as a point of reference.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules.
