Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience with backend Java application development.

• Must be strong in core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

• Hands-on experience with databases, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB.

• Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, MQ), and cloud environments (ECS, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and CI/CD automation pipelines.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with banking and financial services is a strong plus.

• Programming & frameworks: Hibernate

• Databases: Oracle, Mongo DB

• DevOps & Tools: GitHub/Version Control, JIRA, Automation tools

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the design and development of backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

• Develop high-performance, secure, and scalable application components.

• Collaborate with product Owners, architects, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.

• Ensure best practices in software design, code reviews, testing, and security.

• Implement and optimize database solutions using SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.

• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

• Leverage messaging systems (Kafka, MQ) and cloud-native platforms (ECS, Kubernetes, OpenShift) to enable distributed solutions.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement robust fixes.

• Mentor junior developers, guiding them in technical execution and professional growth.
