Compensation: $100–140K base + equity (0.2–0.3%)

We’re working with a stealthy, fast-moving legal AI startup that’s making major strides in modernizing enterprise law firms' deal processes through powerful backend infrastructure and cutting-edge AI integration. With over $1M ARR in the last five months, Series A funding, and an elite team of 20 (including 9 engineers), they’re now hiring Senior Backend Engineers to expand their core product capabilities.

Tech Stack: Golang, Postgres, GCP, Kubernetes, React, Temporal, GitOps, ArgoCD, OpenAI, Anthropic

Job Details

Ideal Background

• 4–8 years of experience as a backend or backend-heavy fullstack engineer.
• Strong experience with Golang in production.
• Startup experience preferred, ideally at a company with a similar scale.
• Strong progression from mid → senior → staff roles within ~3 years per level.
• Preferably from a top university (e.g., U.S. Top 50 overall)
• Based in EST or CST time zones preferred, but flexible.

Not a Fit If

• Frontend-heavy or frontend-only engineers.
• Only large-company experience with no startup/small team exposure.
• Consulting/outsourced backgrounds (e.g., Infosys, Capgemini, etc.).
• Bootcamp-only education or less than 3 years experience.
