Epistemix seeks a Senior Back-End Software Engineer to join our Canada, United Kingdom, and United States team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable services using Python, FastAPI, and TypeScript for backend work, with a strong focus on reliability.

You will own the software lifecycle from requirements to deployment, collaborate across teams, and shape technical direction. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Atlantis is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years backend development experience, with a significant portion in a senior role.
• Expert proficiency in Python, particularly with FastAPI.
• Strong experience with TypeScript for backend development (Node.js/NestJS a plus).
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Proven experience designing, building, and operating microservices architectures.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Expertise in Terraform for IaC.
• Hands-on experience with Atlantis for Terraform pull request automation.
• Location: Canada, United Kingdom, United States.
