Job summary

Coveo is seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer for the Platform Identity & Entitlements (PIE) team in Montreal. You will build and evolve central services that enable customers to create, manage, secure, and govern their Coveo organization, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

You will own services end-to-end, collaborate with other teams, and contribute backend expertise to design reviews and improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development with backend in cloud environments.
• Strong Java knowledge and experience with scalable services.
• Experience owning production services lifecycle.
• Ability to design reusable services for large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services that power core capabilities of the Coveo Platform (e.g., user management, groups and permissions).
• Own services throughout their lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance in production.
• Build reliable and scalable systems while addressing performance and availability risks.
• Collaborate with other teams to design integrated solutions for our services.
• Monitor health and performance of production systems and implement improvements.
