Xero in Vancouver is seeking a backend-focused software engineer to help deliver high-quality services. You will design, build, and operate scalable systems across cloud environments, collaborating with product and platform teams to align with business goals and customer outcomes.

You will mentor others, contribute to planning, and advocate for engineering excellence, DevOps practices, and modern AI-enabled tooling to boost productivity and reduce delivery cycles in a hybrid on-site role.

Formación

• Backend development experience with C#, .NET, Java, or Go.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• Relational databases with transactional integrity (ACID).
• Familiar with DevOps practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in using AI tools to boost productivity and workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
