Job summary

Morningstar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and APIs. The role emphasizes backend development with C#, .NET, and AWS, employing microservices and modern software practices.

The engineer will collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions supporting Morningstar’s investment research and technology platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 5+ years of experience.
• Advanced knowledge of C# and the Microsoft .NET Stack (Entity Framework, LINQ).
• Experience with Web APIs, MVC, Dependency Injection, and asynchronous programming.

Responsibilities
