Job summary

Xsolla is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend systems in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting.

You will develop event-driven services with Go and Kafka, create scalable microservices in Docker and Kubernetes, and push performance, resiliency, and reliability across production workloads.

Own your code in production, collaborate with product teams, and contribute to tests, CI/CD, and architectural decisions to power our gaming commerce platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development experience in Go or a similar language.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-based communication.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Solid understanding of observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, analyze system behavior, and drive resolution.
• Nice to Have Background in gaming, payments, or commerce systems.
• Experience in adtech or offer monetization platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms.

$140,000 - $160,000 a year
