Our client, an innovative industry leader in the insurance domain is looking for a Senior Backend Developer - .NET, Cloud, CI/CD, Hybrid to join their growing team. The successful Senior Backend Developer - .NET, Cloud, CI/CD, Hybrid candidate will have extensive experience building complex web applications in .NET using AWS, Azure, or GCP and working in a best-practices DevOps environment.

This is a full time permanent role and hybrid, 3 days per week in office. Candidates must be based in and legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada. 2 Managerial references required; Criminal, Credit, Education, and Employment backchecks required.

3. Building APIs - 5-10Y+
4. Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) - 5Y+
5. Docker and Kubernetes - 3-5Y+
6. Mentoring juniors - 2-3Y+
7. Proficiency in Angular or similar - 2-3Y+
8. Zero-downtime deployments - 2-3Y+
9. T-SQL and data modelling with SQL Server - 3-5Y+
10. Code-first DB design with migrations using EF Core - 2-3Y+
11. Writing secure code, and addressing vulnerabilities - 5Y+
12. Unit and integration test - 5Y+
13. AI-assisted development tools (which ones?) - 1-2Y+
14. UML - 2-3Y+
15. Building and managing CI/CD pipelines - 3-5Y+
16. Diploma or Degree in CompSci or similar - 2-4Y+
