ELITS is now looking for a Senior Back-End Developer for our operations in Montreal.

About this position:

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be part of our team and your main responsibilities are:

• Design and develop backend microservices to be deployed in a Kubernetes cluster
• Deliver product on time
• Develop features using the latest techniques, architecture, and open-source solutions
• Ensure your code is scalable, resilient, and has security features
• Develop automated unit tests and node-level feature tests
• Document your features

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Experience with backend development
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience developing cloud native microservices in Kubernetes / Docker
• Previous cloud experience (e.g., Azure) is preferred
• Experience with Jira, GitLab, and Agile
• Experience with RESTful API
• Experience with Groovy
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience with Apache Camel
• Experience with code reviews
• English required
