The role

The person would work with the offshore BE developer to deliver digital UX portion and supported by FE onshore and offshore developers, plus a Product Owner, BSA and UXD.


You will
  • Collaborate with internal partners and product owners to discuss their product needs and propose solutions .
  • Writing reliable and robust code.
  • Develop performant and scalable web services that respond in low numbers of milliseconds.
  • Work closely with our infrastructure team to solve DevOps problems.
  • Work closely with your back-end Tech Leads and Solutions Architect to produce software solutions.
  • Design relational and non-relational databases, working around issues in systems such as Postgres and Cassandra.
  • Actively participates in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint demos and retrospectives.
  • Update Jira tickets with clear and concise descriptions of technical solutions, progress, and roadblocks.
  • Take part in regular peer code reviews with fellow development team members.
  • Develop, maintain, and test server-side applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate front-end and back-end components.
  • Identify and troubleshoot bugs, bottlenecks, and other issues in the server-side code.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for server-side applications and APIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in back-end development.
