Work arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days from Home (remote working arrangement is not available)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Analyzing, programming, testing, and maintenance of large-scale backend and/or client server applications. Strong back-end software engineering experience is required for the role.

Individual Responsibilities:

1. Builds, codes, tests, and maintains high-quality software.
2. Participates in Agile sprints and ceremonies; supports rapid iteration and development.
3. Translates user requirements into software requirements.
4. Responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining and improving application APIs as a member of a team, works across key data, orchestration, rules and transactional stacks through the entire application and system development life cycle.
5. Builds code to specifications and standards.
6. Builds and codes moderately complex software.
7. Minimal time coaching teammates.
8. Contributes code across BUs.
9. Has a positive impact on specific organizational entities & has some understanding of the nature of the impact.
10. Usually a top contributor to the team's success.
11. Analyzes, codes, and tests software components as defined by the PO and team.
12. Creates and conducts executable tests, continuously integrating code into the overall software framework.
13. Reviews current software framework to identify defects and opportunities to improve performance and stability.
14. Completes and ensures completion of any required documentation required e.g. deployment, maintenance, support and business needs.
15. Researches technical strategies, third party tools, and current and new technologies to deal with emerging technical issues and improve development efficiency.
16. Promotes agile principles and methodology.
17. Applies disciplined coding practices to enable agility and delivery of high-quality code.

Job Requirements:

Must have:

• At least 7+ years experience in Software development experience.
• 3+ years of production experience with NestJS: Proven track record of building and maintaining complex backend systems using NestJS in a production environment.
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript: Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including its latest features and best practices.
• 5+ years of experience developing production APIs using NodeJS: Extensive experience in building, deploying, and maintaining APIs with NodeJS.
• 5+ years of experience building and integrating REST APIs: Deep understanding of RESTful principles and experience in designing and integrating REST APIs.
