Job summary

Atlantis IT Group is seeking hands-on AWS Data Engineer with 12+ years of experience to support a major Canadian bank project in Toronto. The role emphasizes practical, hands-on delivery of data pipelines and streaming solutions using AWS services.

The ideal candidate will work on Glue PySpark, S3, Lambda, Redshift, DynamoDB, and streaming platforms such as Kinesis or Kafka, with SQL and IaC (CDK/Terraform) required to build scalable data architectures.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in AWS Data Engineering and real-time messaging/streaming technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue PySpark/Python.
• Expertise with S3, Lambda, Redshift, DynamoDB, and SQL.
• Experience with Kinesis and/or Apache Kafka for streaming data.
• Infrastructure as Code using CDK or Terraform.
