Job summary

Amazon in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a Senior Assurance Solutions Architect to join the AWS Security Assurance Services team. You will lead teams of Amazonians, partners, and customers to define innovative compliance and risk management approaches for moving sensitive workloads to the cloud.

You will address enterprise risk, design scalable security solutions, present recommendations, and demonstrate automated compliance in the AWS environment.

Qualifications

8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software, cloud, security, networking).
3+ years design/implementation/consulting in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

Lead teams including Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to move sensitive workloads to the cloud.
Resolve security assurance questions and manage risk to achieve compliance while operating in the AWS Cloud with deep-dive discussions and demonstrations of automating compliance.
Lead efforts with AWS engineering, support and business teams to incorporate partner and customer feedback into AWS roadmaps.
Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
