Job description

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with a solid background in automation testing using Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing test automation scripts and implementing effective testing strategies in a dynamic environment. As a key member of the QA team, you will identify, analyze, and document problems following a clearly defined QA methodology and you will be responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of all manual and automation activities in your area of responsibility.

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for designing the effective automated test frameworks and data -driven execution approach and test design techniques.
• Position will be an individual contributor who is responsible for the preparation of test data, test planning and execution, reporting on testing status and reporting test results for to all partners for assigned projects.
• Identify, document, and report issues/defects found during automation testing, and work with developers to resolve them.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, create test plans, and write comprehensive test cases.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

• Overall 7-10 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or in a similar automation testing role.
• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation (using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Gradle, Rest Assured, Karate etc.)
• Must have experience on automation framework setup.
• Working experienced on CI/CD tools.
• Expertise in using JIRA and any other test management tools like Quality Center / ALM.
• Experience in working with Agile based projects.
• Should be able to play lead role by coordinating onsite and offshore resources along with customer communications.
• Work on in-sprint and regression automation.
