As a Senior Automation Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data solutions that enhance Opus’s inbound data processes and operational efficiencies. This position offers the opportunity to drive automation, optimize workflows, and contribute to strategic initiatives that directly impact the organization’s growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Data Integration & Automation: Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using SSIS and proprietary solutions, ensuring seamless data integration and governance.
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting: Develop and manage dashboards (Power BI or similar) to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve process efficiency, from scope definition to implementation and post-project review.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify automation opportunities, mentor team members, and stay ahead of emerging technologies to foster innovation.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails while ensuring adherence to security policies and governance standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and database management (SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SAP BO, or similar BI tools, along with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a track record of driving process improvements.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
