Job summary
Accenture PLC is seeking an experienced automation engineer to join our digital engineering and manufacturing practice in North America. You will help clients design, implement, and support advanced process control solutions across plant operations, combining engineering expertise with data and automation technologies.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Ignition), and can collaborate with
Qualifications
- Experience in control engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of plant processes in Process and Discrete Manufacturing Industries.
- Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS systems and related software.
- English proficiency for multinational teams.
Responsibilities
- Complete project requirements and deliverables.
- Lead or participate in client consultations.
- Identify, assess, and solve complex technical problems.
- Develop proposals for business opportunities and present to senior leadership.
- Plan and execute system specification, design, architecture, and development.
- Develop standards and documentation for projects or internal use.
- Deliver virtual commissioning/emulation, testing, and simulation.
- Maintain client relationships across engineering disciplines and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage project resources and budgets.
