CK Search Global’s client is a leading UK audit firm seeking a Senior Manager to oversee statutory audits for SMEs and complex international groups. You will manage on-site teams, develop junior staff, and drive efficiency while maintaining high-quality delivery.

You will provide practical business advice to clients, liaising with partners and specialists, and lead business development activities to grow the client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
• Able to provide practical business advice for clients.
• Experience with complex and international groups.
• Experience with small and medium-sized listed entities is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing statutory audits from planning to completion within budget.
• Supervising on-site teams and developing junior staff.
• Improve audit process efficiency without compromising quality.
• Research technical issues and propose solutions for partners/directors.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders to evaluate and review issues.
• Adhere to deadlines and report to partners on potential problems.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and Audit Committees.
• Maintain client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Ensure continuous improvement and fair work allocation within the team.
• Manage billing and work in progress on client assignments.
