Job summary

RSM Canada LLP seeks an Assurance Senior Manager to join our growing national Financial Markets service line, focusing on clients across digital assets, lending, capital markets and insurance. You will lead multiple audit engagements from planning through completion, mentoring teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will apply GAAP knowledge and RSM’s Audit Methodology, drive project milestones, and provide strategic guidance as a trusted advisor across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Active CPA (or equivalent certification) required.
• 9+ years of recent assurance experience in public accounting.
• Experience leading multiple audit engagements end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients.
• Ability to work extended hours and travel.
• Ability to work onsite/client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
• Assess risk along with design and communicate audit procedures to engagement teams.
• Understand and utilize RSM’s Audit Methodology.
• Manage multiple engagements, oversee engagement status and ensure milestones of all projects.
• Understand skillsets and capabilities of Senior Associates, Supervisors and Managers and monitor and review work product that they prepare.
