RSM Canada LLP in Calgary seeks a Senior Associate to join our Assurance Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice. You will lead audits for public and private TMT clients, coordinate engagement teams, and ensure timely delivery of financial statements and disclosures.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, GAAP/IFRS application, staff supervision, and ongoing professional development. Travel is up to 25%. This position offers a competitive compensation package and inclusive culture.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other discipline from an accredited University.
• Active CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure in province of residence.
• 2–3 years of recent assurance experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and auditing software tools.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, CASs or IFRS and related standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills.
• Experience supporting audit engagements from planning through completion, including mentoring staff.
• Effective project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Provide timely, high quality client service including auditing financial statements and related disclosures.
• Assess risk and design audit procedures to engagement teams.
• Understand and utilize RSM’s Audit Methodology and manage engagement teams.
• Supervise seniors and supervisors and coach staff on performance.
• Maintain contact with clients to understand impact of developments on audits.
• Develop others through practice training and firm initiatives.
• Travel up to 25% and work at client sites as required.
