Job summary

Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Associate on the Treasury Cash Management team in Canada to ensure optimal cash flow and operational efficiency. You will oversee daily payment processing across multiple channels, validate journal entries, and monitor balances to support liquidity and revenue optimization.

You will develop short-term cash flow forecasts, communicate updates to stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve processes and automate tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Excellent understanding of cash management processes and controls.
• Experience with treasury management systems and banking platforms.

About the Team

As a Senior Associate on Wealthsimple's Treasury Cash Management team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring optimal cash flow management and operational efficiency. You'll manage daily payment processing operations, monitor balances across accounts, and develop immediate and short-term cash flow forecasts that drive liquidity and revenue optimization decisions.

• Experience with treasury management systems and banking platforms

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years minimum in cash management or payment processing experience

• Experience in fintech or digital banking environments

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial transactions

• Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages

• Experience with process automation tools

• Understanding of settlement risk and liquidity management principles
