We are looking for a recent graduate with a strong educational background in technology, including requirements analysis, design, development, architecture, cloud technologies, implementations, and operations. Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, finance, accounting, or related professional services is advantageous.

As a Tax Technologist, you will collaborate with tax teams to understand their objectives and develop solutions to add value. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and configuring solutions for client-facing tax technology consulting engagements.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Evaluating available technologies to meet tax needs.
  2. Supporting project teams in understanding stakeholder and user requirements.
  3. Creating design and architecture plans, including UI, technical and functional designs, data models, and integrations.
  4. Developing solutions based on design specifications.
  5. Coordinating delivery plans, testing, training, and support for new applications.
  6. Participating in team demos and retrospectives for quality assurance and process improvement.
  7. Vetting proposed designs with the product manager and client as needed.
  8. Supporting business operations by implementing dashboards, alerts, license management, and resource utilization tracking.
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields.
  • 1-2 years of experience in engineering, computer science, or related STEM fields.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JS, R, Office Scripts).
  • Commitment to obtaining Microsoft development certifications and ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into business solutions creatively.
  • Effective communication of complex ideas to varied audiences.
  • Curiosity and attention to detail.
  • Organization and discipline in following processes.
  • Ability to work remotely in a team environment.
  • Time management skills for handling multiple tasks.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with Alteryx or other ETL platforms.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Educational or professional experience in application development.

Salary range: $52,500 - $73,500, with potential discretionary bonuses based on performance.
