Role Overview

As a Senior Associate or Manager, you will work on IT and Technology due diligence and M&A projects, liaising with clients including senior executives, private equity firms, and corporate development teams. Your responsibilities include understanding technology value, planning for acquisitions, preparing exits, and designing joint ventures.

Team and Responsibilities

Our team members have experience in:

  • Supporting senior client executives in strategizing IT value creation
  • Analyzing IT capabilities of potential acquisition targets
  • Performing carve-out assessments and designing standalone operating models
  • Assessing technology product growth and market alignment
  • Providing technical, financial, and analytical guidance

Additional experiences include supporting pre-deal due diligence, assessing M&A readiness, and delivering EBITDA improvements through various analyses.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or 3-6 years of IT-related work experience
  • Certifications or Master’s in Information Systems or Software Engineering are assets
  • Experience in IT M&A projects, IT assessment, and software evaluation
  • Strong understanding of IT strategy, budgeting, architecture, or AI
  • Analytical and communication skills, with experience in workshops and cross-functional collaboration
Compensation

The salary range is $58,000 - $138,000 for Senior Associates and $83,000 - $175,000 for Managers, with bonus eligibility. Deloitte offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package including benefits, wellness support, flexible work arrangements, and more.
