Role: Sr. Associate, Influencer Marketing

Location: Toronto (Ca)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate of Influencer Marketing to join our Performance Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing and scaling influencer programs, strong relationship management and negotiation skills, and a results-driven mindset. The Senior Associate will take a more strategic role in identifying and securing top influencer talent, optimizing performance-driven campaigns, and contributing to overall team growth. This position requires a strong business development mindset, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to drive impactful results.

You will...
Talent Sourcing & Relationship Management:
  • Proactively identify and onboard high-potential influencers, building a scalable and high-performing influencer portfolio.
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with influencers, agencies, and content creators, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Lead negotiation strategies to optimize influencer contracts and maximize ROI while securing favorable terms.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices for outreach and relationship-building.
Campaign Strategy & Management:
  • Manage and scale influencer campaigns from inception to completion, both in-house and with agency partners.
  • Optimize product seeding initiatives, ensuring a strategic approach to engaging VIP influencers and brand advocates.
  • Develop data-driven campaign briefs that align influencer content with performance goals and brand messaging.
  • Implement and refine tracking mechanisms to measure and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for optimization, making strategic recommendations to improve influencer performance.
Execution & Prioritization:
  • Balance multiple influencer partnerships and campaign timelines, ensuring seamless execution and impactful results.
  • Collaborate with influencers to ensure high-quality, brand-aligned content that meets campaign objectives.
  • Address challenges proactively and apply a solution-oriented approach to improve processes.
  • Support testing and innovation in influencer marketing strategies to enhance efficiency and performance.
Data & Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze influencer performance data, drawing insights to improve future partnerships and campaign results.
  • Manage and optimize tracking codes, UTMs, and attribution models for more accurate performance analysis.
  • Develop detailed post-campaign reports with key learnings, takeaways, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Leverage insights to inform budget allocation and optimize spend on high-performing influencers.
Collaboration & Industry Insights:
  • Work closely with internal teams (paid media, content, CRM, analytics) to integrate influencer efforts into broader marketing strategies.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, social media algorithms, and evolving influencer marketing best practices.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for scaling the influencer program, leveraging emerging trends and opportunities.
You have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, business development, or a related field, with a strong focus on pitching, relationship building and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, onboard, and manage influencer partnerships at scale.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CPM, CPV/CPS, CAC, incremental CAC, LTV, ROI) and their application to influencer marketing.
  • High proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills, with experience leading negotiations.
  • Familiarity with UTM tracking, performance analytics, and influencer marketing platforms (e.g., AspireIQ, CreatorIQ).
  • Knowledge of social media trends, content production, and emerging digital marketing practices, particularly in the wellness & food verticals.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for scaling influencer marketing programs.
