Leo Berwick, a growth-stage M&A advisory firm, seeks a Senior Associate to lead complex financial modeling for infrastructure and energy transition projects across North America.

You will build robust financial models from scratch, translate client data into auditable outputs, and support deal engagements with rigorous analysis. Travel to Canada and the USA is required, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial modeling, transaction advisory, consulting or related analytical roles.
  • CPA, CFA, or formal financial modeling training is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build full financial models independently (from assumptions through valuation outputs).
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience building models from scratch required.
  • Exposure to transaction, advisory, consulting, or investment environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own complex financial models from the ground up, including cash flow modeling, scenario analysis, and valuation outputs.
  • Translate client data and assumptions into structured, auditable models that support investment, transaction, and strategic decisions.
  • Support deal and advisory engagements across sectors, contributing modeling insights to client deliverables and presentations.
  • Review and QA models for accuracy, consistency, and clarity before client delivery.
  • Collaborate with Directors and VPs to refine methodologies, assumptions, and modeling approaches.
  • Contribute to case studies, templates, and internal best practices to improve modeling efficiency and quality.

What we’re looking for

  • We are searching for a Senior Associate to play a critical execution role within the Modeling practice, supporting complex client engagements through the development of high‑quality financial models, analyses, and insights. This role partners closely with Directors and VPs to deliver rigorous, decision‑ready outputs while continuing to deepen technical and industry expertise.
