Job summary

Fitch Ratings, a leading credit ratings agency, seeks an Associate Director to join the Structured Credit & CLOs team in Toronto. Analyze CLO ratings, present conclusions, contribute to research and rating actions.

We value a quantitative background, 4+ years in finance, CLOs/Structured Finance preferred, strong analytics, and communication. Hybrid work model with office days, mentorship programs, healthcare and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (finance, accounting, economics, etc.).
• At least four years of experience in the financial industry, with a preference for CLOs or Structured Finance.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and self-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; programming knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ratings on Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) using proprietary models.
• Prepare and present rating conclusions to a credit committee.
• Draft rating action commentary reports to communicate rating decisions to market participants.
• Contribute to recurring and special research publications.
